PETER MOLLOY, M.D., FACG

Dr. Molloy graduated from Fordham University and completed his medical education at the State University of New York – Stony Brook. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
He was previously Chief of Gastroenterology and Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at West Penn Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at Duquesne University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Molloy has served as a principle investigator or co-investigator in 27 clinical trials. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 publications or abstracts on topics in gastroenterology including book chapter, review articles, case reports and original research. In addition, Dr. Molloy has been a reviewer for The American Journal of Gastroenterology, The Journal of Digestive Diseases and Sciences and the Southern Medical Journal. He was a member of the Education Committee of the American College of Gastroenterology for 6 years. He was the Course Director of the Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology Annual Meeting in 2001.
