Theresa graduated from Duquesne University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as an RN in the Cardiovascular ICU at UPMC Mercy for nearly 17 years before earning a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2014. While in her NP program, she was the recipient of the AANP Masters of Nursing Scholarship award in 2012. As a nurse practitioner, she developed extensive experience working in the Gastroenterology specialty at several healthcare facilities including Butler Memorial Hospital, UPMC, Washington Hospital, and St. Clair Health. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association. She joined Pittsburgh Gastroenterology Associates in April 2025. She enjoys working with patients in both the hospital and office settings.

Theresa resides in Robinson Township with her husband and their three children. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
